Constant updates are a good thing. People who are wondering what it is, its an "open source" mod for Halo CE, meaning anything that's made by me (not submissions included) is free to be abused for non-profit. You can also submit your stuff aswell.

For a teaser on the development of the Mawd (at least the part I'm doing on it) -- the start of the skin for the attack bike (In Rhino 3d V3)

The front of the bike.

Have fun.

EDIT! The bike is in NURBS right now -- its poly count will shoot right down when I -- well -- actually convert it TO polys.

File Share - Check out my latest map Paradigm.

Could you clear up a little of my confusion here. The Mawd is a level you're building for CE, right? And you're making a new vehicle or skin for one that is a bike? If I'm correct, then that is awesome. I've seen some maps where there are new vehicles and weapons. Some of them suck but others are alright. Yours looks pretty decent from that picture. Keep up the good work. I'm actually looking for someone on or near Cape Cod to build maps with me.

Actually -- its a pack. Multiple maps, multiple new weapons, multiple new vehicles, new turrets, human fliers (I hope), people who submit maps/vehicles can import their own on any existing maps. Basically having a big-arse flatfile so people don't need to download each map/mod individually. Also -- people who wish to submit stuff but NOT allow people to redistribute it can have it mentioned in the credits text file which will be shipped with it.

Those with Adobe PDF viewer (AKA: Acrobat reader) can read the guideline manual for developpers/assisters at:

Got to warn you though, this crap is getting harder and harder to understand for me, and this isn't my only project (took up amature filming), so I'm hoping I can get it done within time constraints. If I need to pull out, all those who wish to continue where I left off can just MSN me at the adress privateer@myself.com And I'll be happy to send you a zip compression of my work/do texturing and crap.

Also, do to my amature filming-ness, I'd be happy to do promotional videos for your projects (as of yet though, I'm running a GeForce 2MX-400, so eyecandy is made with lemons)

Sounds good - I gave up trying to get to grips with Guerilla.

Sorry for the quick update... got a bit more done... did a test render (With godaweful materials) Slanted the handlebar shaft back a bit, added a windsheild, slanted it back. Added a gun... mini-railgun -- this bike's designed to be a flag runner so it won't work too well. Also you should be able to biff grenades when I'm done with it. Hoping it would be fun for all.

Also planning another version of this (if you didn't check out my manual and saw it anyway) which has active camoflague as its "weapon". Short bursts of invisibility, long recycle.

Makes me wonder why people haven't tried to optimize NURBS into a viable gaming platform... more accurate than polys... just a bunch of curves strung by other curves to make an organic-style surface.

Okay -- bike nearly complete. All who wish to look -- here it is

The bike w/ MC riding it

The window has a refraction gradient on it, so they ARE line up, it just bent the light when I rendered it. (Like the pencil in a glass of water trick)
