Most of us who have played Halo since the very very beginning have used the original controller. I got used to it and didnt switch to the S (mainly because its way too small for me) Not that I hate the controller S, I just prefer the "duke" instead. So I will probably definatley play Halo 2 with the Duke as apposed to the S. (dont make this a flaming thread over which controller is better) I only met about ONE person on xbox live who played with a duke, and he works at a gamestop and played xbox since the day it came out. PS: My friend asked me " If you use the Duke, are you 'old school?' " kinda wierd question but what do you guys think?

The "S" has better qualitys such as smaller so you dont have to scramble to find the shoot button when Im shooting at you w/ a pistol.

DUKE BABY! I am only 13 but I am used to the duke. It barely fits my hands but it does just fine plus i don't like the button placement on the S.

the xbox nowadays comes with the S, when i bought it it still had the duke, so basically about everyone is converting to using the S with all these xbox's being sold. Its great to use if you have small hands or something, but I dont have small hands and Its a good workout to reach the buttons!!!! :-D (All Dukes aboard the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome train!!! Woo Woo! Woo Woo!)

I will go with the DUKE. I got big hands and the duke fits me perfectly (no im not fat). Plus the buttons are too close together on the S (sometimes I hit 2 buttons at once, like hitting b aswell when i go for y), And i really hate where the white and black buttons are.

yeah i think i figured it out Dukes = for "Brute" like people.....Ss = grunty/jackal like people. (i use the S too and im not fat...why do people see duke users as fat anyway?)

I thought they didn't sell them anymore. Anyway, I can fire faster with the Plasma Pistol using the S. I also switched the Duke's thumbsticks with the S's.

Same thing that happen to my Duke....odd?

I did use the Duke, but the cord ripped.(and I did't buy a new one yet)

So, I use a even better controller, its made by Logitech. It's the Logitech Precision Controller.

It's awesome, good button setup, really smooth sticks, it's just a good/very good controller.

Oh and it fits my hands well, very well.(Its on the big size)

It's about as big or larger then the Duke. But at first it feels odd, but once you play with it over and over it a damn good controller, and it feels normal.

My controller

Oh and minds is not cordless.

I used to use the duke on my friends xbox but when I got mine it came with an S. It's not really a matter of preference just whatever your used to.
