If you're looking for an old post and can't find it, as well as bearing in mind the tips in Your Guide to Searching For Old Threads, why not try a Google search?

Just type in your user name followed by the title or part of the title of your thread. It doesn't always work perfectly, but it's a good alternative until there's a search function on this site.

Here are some examples:

"eagle 117 conclusive theory"
"mustafaiqbal halo movie"
"sir_brilliant Halo2/3 book"
"frostbitaren lag and latency"

P.S Please don't flame if this is common knowledge, I've just never seen it posted before.

The main problem with using Google is that it has too much of a lag, and small posts are generally missed. So if you want to find that post you made last week asking how to get the "Bungie.net" logo behind your gamertag on Xbox Live, you'll probably be out of luck.

Although, there's a good possibility that you'll end up finding someone's post on the topic, since they're so gosh darn frequent.

To search in only Bungie.net, type site:Bungie.net at the end of your Google search. This will limit the search to Bungie.net.

Here is the other way to search for "bungie.net logo behind gamertag".
