I made a halo movie and now i want to save it to a disc using the option in windows movie maker called save to CD. I tried it and it was working but for some reason the thing stops at 58% and it says peparing movie to write on cd. It always freezes there. I dont know whats wrong. Also i heard if you do save it to your cd that you can play it on your DVD player is that true? Even though i dont have a DVD burner iam saving it to a normal CD. Thanks FOr Any Replys

So you have a blank CD in your CD writer but it won't write? I say save it to your hard drive then burn it with a program.

Heyyo,

Yeah, I suggest just saving it to your comp, and then burning it to a vcd later. Your vid might be too big and that's why it stops.

Normaly when you get a burner it comes with software so you should look at your start menu.

You got me. burning anything to a cd is the same: data, movies, music.

Just save it to HDD and then burn. Nero 6 is pretty cheap if you want to buy it.

I save it as a Windows/media file. Then i converted the movie to mpeg. then i burn it with nero 6 to a vcd.

You sure that WMP supports Mpeg? You may have it disabled.

You want it to play in your DVD player on your tv right? Well burn it to a DVD! Some players won't take burnt disks.
