I've been playing Halo PC for a while now and I'm okay with the so-so graphics my computer limits me too. However, one thing irks me: Master Chief skin colors! Every Master Chief skin is the same old black and white coloration and it gets annoying during big multiplayer sessions with teams. I've had to rely on arrows for a while and it pretty much sucks cause they can sometimes be hard to see. There are lots of different color variations on the game and I don't understand why I can't see colored MC-skins. If there is a way, though, someone please lay it out for me. I'd appreciate it.

It almost sounds like you're running this on a laptop? In any case, I'd start with searching for new drivers for my onboard video and take it from there. If you're not on a laptop, I'd seriously look into getting a dedicated videocard, rather than an onboard controller. Even a cheap videocard can often times beat an onboard video controller. :P

I was in the same boat for a while when I first started playing. It added to my tk's because all looked the same except the arrows. Then I invested in a decent video card and the game is now full of pretty colors and is so much more enjoyable! It makes a big difference. I still suck but now I need a new excuse..........

Is this a 'video card' built into the motherboard? If so - get a real one. Doesn't need to be top of the line but its a good investment in your gaming experience to get one that is at least 'good'.

no, this is a desktop. i suppose it is the video card since its not really a brand worth being a video card. i dunno what having has to do with it, but i read up on that sticky forum about video cards. i saw a card on there i've been eyeing for a while, a Raedon 9800. says it works well for halo and it's pretty cheap to so i'll look into buying that.

and yeah, i tk bigtime with every master chief lookin the same :P
