The jury quickly decides hes innocent. (Thats the extent of this thread- this dead sticky)
Here is the direct paste from the text document that I had written everything in (I laid it all out so it was more organized):
Judge: You know what to do. Do you know about legal proceedings? You don’t have to be too realistic, just have to get the job done. And you have to maintain order. You can put in small criticisms as well. PM me if you have any questions.
Jury: Your job for now is to simply listen. You can ask questions if you want. At the end you will talk amongst yourselves to decide if the defendant is guilty or not- and what his sentence will be if so. You are not to discuss with the attorneys or anyone else in the case about the case. PM me if you have any questions at all. I will add more evidence as the case progresses.
Defendant: Now don’t say that I told you this, but in this scenario you are innocent. You were over at your girlfriends house, and while you were in the kitchen chopping meat- a terrible shot rang out, and you heard glass shattered. Not bothering to drop the knife, you rushed out to the family room, where your girlfriend lay bloodied on the couch, having spasms. Your girlfriend whispered to you, “Take it out… it hurts so bad…”
The knife, still in your hand, was the only tool that could complete this task. Knowing full well what it might mean, you use the knife to extract the lead pellet, which you dropped onto the couch. You held your girlfriend as her eyes turned glazed and she died.
Just at that moment, the doorbell rang. You dropped the knife, mouth gaping open, eyes wide.
The door burst open and in came your (ex)girlfriends neighbor. He displayed a look of dismay, and turned and ran. You simply stared before you, not knowing what to do.
The rest of the episode you have forgotten, and you wake up in a prison cell. You have an arranged court date, and you are being charged with murder by the victims parents.
You can tell them this scenario- but your attorney has to prove you right, otherwise they will think its some lame story. You loved your girlfriend, even though you had a big argument a day before. PM me if you have any questions at all. I will add more evidence as the case progresses.
(Witness): You are the guilty one. You definitely don’t want to let them know that the defendant (goweb) is innocent. You have moved in as the girl’s neighbor because you were contracted by a big political leader to kill her. If you killed her and framed her boyfriend, a son of your biggest rival and hated foe- the scandal would give him the approval needed. So you moved in. When the time was right, you moved to the opposite side of her house (from yours), and sniped her through the window. You tossed your rifle into the swamp behind you, and rushed over to the girls house.
You ring the doorbell. Noone answers so you bust down the door. You display a horrified look as the defendant holds a knife, bathed in the blood of his girlfriend. You turn and run to your house to call the police. They come by and take the son, and clean up the scene. You are asked to be a witness at the trial, which you are glad to do because it will cover your case even more. That night you get a transfer of 50,000$ in your bank account. So tell the court whatever you want- but this is the truth. PM me if you have any questions at all. I will add more evidence as the case progresses.
Victim: You are the parents of a young girl that was murdered a while back. You received a call that your daughter was found with her boyfriend (son of an important political figure) who was holding a knife above her wound. You are infuriated, and want to bring justice to this boy. You hire the best attorney you can. You are so distraught. PM me if you have any questions at all. I will add more evidence as the case progresses.
Attorney: You will hear the case when it is presented to the court. You will have to work with your client to make sure they say the right things. They may tell you a truth of somekind, or they may keep it a secret. You will work with them. I will give evidence along the way, it is your job to use it to help your client. PM me if you have any questions at all. I will add more evidence as the case progresses.
Witness: You are a cop that first reached the murder scene. You found a boy clenching a kitchen knife, over a dead girl, tainted with blood. You search the room, and find only a knife, and that is the only piece of evidence you can find. You will have to testify about what you have seen. I will keep you updated on important information that you should know. PM me if you have any questions at all. I will add more evidence as the case progresses.
Please feel free to point out any blatant flaws you may encounter.
