I dont know if anyone has noticed yet, but I saw these two symbols on the rifle while browsing through the Halo 2 screen caps.

I know that they did the same thing with the pistol in Halo, it was somewhere barely noticable, on the bottom maybe, but the symbol meant "Power" and rightfully so. Does anybody know what these symbols mean?

Im nearly 100% positive that isnt battle damage.

I recognize the second symbol, and it would be too coincidental and out-of-place.

It's just cool, interesting, and over looked.

haha, i bet it's the entire game summed up. i bet if you translated that to english, it would be the size of a novel. Oh those crazy asians...

deidg, I suggest you change this now as some people may find this offensive.

As for the Battle Rifle, they're definately symbols of some sort (whether thats Language or other). I to would like to know what they mean :)

Officium quod Fidelitas.

Please don't bump your posts. And it may be a personal symbol from the Bungie artist.

The symbol on the Right means KING, the other symbol, GI (pronunced GEE as in GEEK) has no particular meaning that I can fathom except perhaps someones name?? The advantages of living in Japan. U got any other J related questions drop me a line.

It might be the model number of the gun. as for the japanese symbols, i have no idea.

  • 07.09.2004 8:25 AM PDT

um... maybe it says like MADE IN CHINA or something like that, ahaha. It was a joke. Either way i probably doesn't tell you much about halo 2, so i dont think it's worth making a big fuss over.
