Actually you should have no problem. The architecture of a Core 2 Duo cpu is alot better then any "older Socket cpu".

It should run fine as you have a Core 2 Duo and a GeForce 8600GT. Granted, the Core 2 Duo is under the 2.0GHz requirement, (like the guy above said) the architecture of the Core 2 Duo is much better and more efficient than a Pentium 4.
