Jim... this belongs in either The Classifieds or Zanzibar... Silly man.

Anyhow, have you considered hosting it within CG-Soc's mandate? Southampton University has a lot of big rooms that would be perfect. I'd have to get Martha or Rob to come with me and request the University allow us permission, of course.

And I do hope you'd be inviting our residential British mod, Goweb.

Surrey has a nice union building. And a nice volunteer crew with access to projectors.

I swear he said that before... Having the same problem eh goweb? i heared you posted 9 posts of the samething ;)

Wouldn't it just be easier to play this over live? All you'd need to do was arange a date and time.

Oh and one more thing. The Flood?! why on earth was it moved here?!

Ah, Kroll, so this is what you meant when you asked if I was interested in a HUGE LAN. Count me in. I have nothing to do after May 20th, except getting a job that is.

I'd be fine with it being at Southampton Uni, as I believe you guys finish your exams later than me (in June?).

I'll ask people I know from uni too.

I was kinda hoping for it to be a kinda party with alchohol and all, so Uni buildings are kinda out, also, a guy PM'd me, telling me about a tourney this summer, we could integrate the 2!

Perhaps If someon has a large Uni house they are willing to risk their deposit over?

If Surrey are willing... perhaps we could use their Building.

You'd probably have to pay for it, unless I can be bothered to negotiate with the Ents Manager (I know him, so that helps).

If you can get enough people to take a load on the bar then they'd probably be happy with that.

I'll talk to him if I get the chance and see what I can do.

Eh. I Pm'd you about that tournament. It'll be over live though, so unless you can set-up a load of live accounts there i can't see how you can intergrate the two ;)

If you guys have this LAN, it would have to be seperate to the tournament. I don't have a date or anything but i guess, if no one minds, i'll just tell everyne else. There will hopefuly be a tournament that i and some others are arranging for everyone. The point is that this was to be a relief and break from our exams (mine finish June sometime, i'm in sixthform college)

I won't mention this anymore here unless you want me to. I'll check for any replies. Good luck on the LAN match!

I may be interested in a Live tourney. The end of my university year is the 12th June though, and I haven't got broadband at home.

I have broadband at my university house. I don't have broadband at my parents house, where I shall be spending the summer months. Sorry for the confusion.

OK, now as I'm sure many of you out there are aware, Final exams and dissertations are coming, as a result, many of us will be offline from XBL for a long while...

I propose a MASSIVE end of exams Lan Party/party, the location to be determined after feedback has been assured.

Right now, all I would like is an Idea of how many people would be interested, moot points like details can be sorted out after this stressful period!

Non uni gamers would be welcome as well.

Mods: Apologies if this is the wrong forum.
