Listen up guys, i'm tired of explaining this, and somewhat tired of people Pming me to tell it again. Humans, that's right, US, WE, are the forerunner. (In the game that is.) Would you like proof? Here:

In Halo, the last level, Caleld, "The Maw," You get to the bridge, and what do you know, 343 Guilty Spark, is pulling information from HUMAN, databases. He is looking at the "Pillar of Autumn's" computers. And he says this. "You can't imagine how exciting this is! To have a record of all of our lost time! Human history, is it? Fascinating." NOW, LISTEN. LOOK. LEARN, CONPREHEND, BE GOOD. UNDERSTAND, Because this is the LAST time I will explain it. 343 Guilty Spark Said that he just got a record of all of his lost time... "Human History is it?" HUMAN, History. There you go. WE, are the forerunner. Thank you and make this a sticky please. I won't even take credit for it. Here, EAGLE TOLD ME ABOUT IT. There ya go. Make it a sticky. I'm tired of explaining this.

This is the theory I believe in. That also explains why covenant would want us dead so bad, and also leads to the supposed "forerunner secret on Earth." The only question is, how did we lose all our knowledge/ forget our past.

The humans are not the forerunner that makes no sense. That's like saying grunts and the elites are the same cause we call them the covenant and there's no seperation between them and that falls short.

Aight, listen up again. Shadow Warrior, just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean it isn't true. And I am confused as to how you cant understand it, but look, it's all there, no holes liek Eagles Fancy work... It is all CONCLUSIVE. And most of all, it is proven, not by theory, but by the game itself.

I've come back today to finish what I started. You guys, Ackerson is not there to have evil relations with the Halo Artifacts. Here's the proof.

On "The Maw." In Halo, (The last level.) When you get to the bridge, Listen hella closely to what 343 GS says. He is pulling information form the database on "The Pillar Of Autumn." And he says, "interesting to learn all of our lost time. Human history is it?" Go watch the video. Not hard to get to. Listen to it, you're taking this crap WAY out of porportion here, it's just a game.

You do know that Halo's history isn't just known through the first game, but through the books, and Bungie's own history for how they'll explain it all

Halo isn't just a game that's thrown together; Bungie has a thing called the Halo Bible, which explains the history, plots, civilization architecture, background, etc., of the entire Halo universe; the Covenant, humans, and anything else that matters in the Halo "world"

When people make theories like Eagle's, that is how deep the game is meant to be. You seem to think that there is no history or background to any of the stuff that Bungie puts out, and if you think that, then you should familiarize yourself more with Bungie; nothing happens without a reason, and nothing is going to be as simple as just throwing stuff into the game without true merit for it's purpose. This isn't to say that your theory about the humans being Forerunners isn't true, but it's to argue against your cry that Halo is just a simple game, with no meat on the bone

Think of it as the whole Star Wars thing; there have been movies, games, books; all made because there is a base history for everything in them. Eric Nylund worked closely with Bungie in making his books, and they are not fan fiction; they basically gave him a blog of tru7h from the Halo Bible, and he just made a story out of it

it just doesn't make sense that the humans are forerunner.

1. how would we just suddenly lose all that technology that the forerunner had
2. why would the covenant be killing us, as upposed to worshiping us.

oh, and the above post was truely inspiring. thanx for bringing this to light.

I won't argue with you guys on this, it's a game, not real life. I know I know they have the background story, but just as I was telling Spec ops Elite 7, it's a game, and the ending to this game is NOT going to come out scientificly, It is giong to come out, with, "The god guy saves the day." And since Theories are a Scientific formality, that would mean that theories really, are not valid in a fictional enviroment. Don't argue with facts, as some of yuo are trying to do.

Well, it makes sense that the covenant would be killing us, because they would not want us to realize the truth/ regain our power. For all I know, the covenant wouldn't even know who we are, and are simply going around killing us. As for your other point, that is the only thing I see about this theory that is unexplainable.

Please really, make thsi a sticky, Because just know, tommorrow, when I get on here, this is giong to be gone and some CENSORED is giong to post, "ARE THE HUMANS FORERUNNERS?" Also... What other theroy did I have that i was trying to use as an excuse? You said, "Or that's just an excuse for you losing a debate. It's a good one, though." What excuse?

A theroy is based on Scientific Outcome. Look, if you have a world, where ANYTHING can happen at ANY time. You can't theroize ANYTHING, because EVERYTHING, is possible. It has to be based on a scientific outcome.

wait, how would we be offensive to the gods? do we have bad BO or something?

oh yeah, and the original "proof" for this theory, about 343 GS's remark, it could refer to sentient species in general, the lost time. he'd probably say the same thing if he picked up a database on covenant history, except probably like this "emit tsol ruo lla fo drocer a"

You would imagine that GS343 would say, "finally, the humans are back!" or something like that. I mean, AI's will get bored b/c they are AIs after all. So its kinda like your mom or something or your wife coming back after a bunch of years

wasn't this supposed to be about whether humans are forerunner or not?

Okay guys, you just don't get it. Humans are the forerunner, look at what 343 said, don't argue it, you know that is what he meant. And a theory, still, is based on something that has a sceintific outcome. Oh and AI's, they would NEVER, get bored, it's just a program. We get bored becasue we have feelings, do AI's have feelings? No.

1. The Halo rings were fired over 100,000 years ago, that could have blasted us back to the stoneage. Imagine the the last of our species escapes the blast and lands on a rock called earth. There is no way to make repairs, and even so, all that would break down, you would have to start over.

2. The covenent are killing us because the prophets (supposed descendants of forrunner) are telling them humans had made great sin against the Gods. The cove only know what the prophets have told them. WHY??? because they are good talkers, they united the cove army to what it is now, and they claim to be from Gods, not to mention they gave the cove army all new technology they had found from the planet they originated from.

Dude, If you going to be a part of this discussion, do us a favor and help out rather try and disprove what you dont understand.

343 would say human history is it? because we names ourselves humans. We also named forrunner, the forrunner, its an english given name from a human planet for some unknown species we have little information on. get it?

Oh and here you go, here's even further proof that 343 wasn't talking about history of all life in general. 343 said "A record of our lost time." "Human history is it?" He was directly correlating it with Human history, meaning he was in fact saying inadvertantly, we are the forerunner.
