Aight, listen up again. Shadow Warrior, just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean it isn't true. And I am confused as to how you cant understand it, but look, it's all there, no holes liek Eagles Fancy work... It is all CONCLUSIVE. And most of all, it is proven, not by theory, but by the game itself.

I've come back today to finish what I started. You guys, Ackerson is not there to have evil relations with the Halo Artifacts. Here's the proof.
On "The Maw." In Halo, (The last level.) When you get to the bridge, Listen hella closely to what 343 GS says. He is pulling information form the database on "The Pillar Of Autumn." And he says, "interesting to learn all of our lost time. Human history is it?" Go watch the video. Not hard to get to. Listen to it, you're taking this crap WAY out of porportion here, it's just a game.
You do know that Halo's history isn't just known through the first game, but through the books, and Bungie's own history for how they'll explain it all
Halo isn't just a game that's thrown together; Bungie has a thing called the Halo Bible, which explains the history, plots, civilization architecture, background, etc., of the entire Halo universe; the Covenant, humans, and anything else that matters in the Halo "world"
When people make theories like Eagle's, that is how deep the game is meant to be. You seem to think that there is no history or background to any of the stuff that Bungie puts out, and if you think that, then you should familiarize yourself more with Bungie; nothing happens without a reason, and nothing is going to be as simple as just throwing stuff into the game without true merit for it's purpose. This isn't to say that your theory about the humans being Forerunners isn't true, but it's to argue against your cry that Halo is just a simple game, with no meat on the bone
Think of it as the whole Star Wars thing; there have been movies, games, books; all made because there is a base history for everything in them. Eric Nylund worked closely with Bungie in making his books, and they are not fan fiction; they basically gave him a blog of tru7h from the Halo Bible, and he just made a story out of it
