Subject: wtf is he doing?

I've seen videos and montages of halo 2 where people do weird things with sticky grenades like throw two on top of each other, and the second one automatically sticks the other person.

Also, why do people melee right before the shoot with the sniper?

I also says that there was 'neutral host' on some of them, but i dunno what that means.

P.S I never played Halo 2, i was just curious..

All throughout history great empires rise and fall. How you ask?
Two reasons:
1. Economic failure because of either inflation or socialistic programs.
2. War. Their armies were spread too thin and too far from home.

The United States has bases all around the world in "hazardous" areas and it's economy collapses it seems every 20 years. Do you really think that history won't change? Do you really think that you can run the world?

Well, the stickie part is just with a charged weapon like the plasma pistol. I don't feel like explaining it. :D

And I have no idea why they melee before they shoot with the sniper, probably for a quick reload.

No idea what neutral host it.

The first grenade explodes to launch the second grenade onto somebody. If done correctly and with a lot of luck you can stick someone from much farther away than a thrown sticky. And because an explosion propels the grenade rather than your arm it flies with much more force and speed so it harder to avoid.

Because it looks cool.

I'm not sure but I think that means one player has host but doesn't play during the game. That way you can mimic a dedicated server. For example say you're doing a 1v1 and you wanted a neutral host instead of one player having a huge advantage over another you would have a third player join so he could host the game. Then the other two players would have at each other on a level playing field.
