woot.

here's one of mine--
Prologue

Jackson got to his knees, still coughing, "Did anyone else make it?" He said in disarray.

Dots scanned the area, "I'm not sure" he said "If they did, they probably landed outside."

"Then God help em' " Jackson swore under his breath, " I think the Colonel's losing it, this was a $uicide mission to begin with!"

"You better watch it" Dots said, "We're on open Comms right now, someone might be listening"

Jackson swore again, "If the Colonel can hear me, then he can kiss my ass!"

"That's not what I meant" Dots explained, "Those alien b@stards have been spying on us, how else would they know our coordinates?"

Sargeant Jackson thought for a moment, he needed to think this through. If some of his men had made it, then he and Private Dots would have to hurry.

"Brutes will be swarming this area soon" Dots said, "We need to leave now ."

"I hear ya' " Jackson confirmed, "Pick up some ammo, you're gonna need it!"

They busted the door of the building they had crashed into down, and jumped through, covering each other carefully. If they needed to succeed in thier mission, then they needed to watch each other's backs.

"start looking for signals" Jackson ordered, "we need to know if any of our guys made it soon. I'm not gonna linger for long."

"Sir!" Dots acknowledged, and he began to scan around.

Jackson and his men were ODST's, Helljumpers. If anyone could make it past all that anti-air fire, then it would be his men. His were the best of the best, maybe a little crazy at times, but they were good men.

"I hope you find something." He said under his breath. He knew that he would need them for this one. "Just hang in there guys, hang in there."

It's nice. Very nice. I read it before in the Halo 3 forum where you posted it in the guy who I helped out a bit's thread.
