Well, if you purchased CE, then you got taken. We purchased Halo PC. CE is a free download to play fan-made maps and all that gravy. I got a message when I first started playing that told me my video hardware wasnt good enough or something along those lines. I just clicked 'Dont show this message again' and continued playing. What is the actual message though? Also, many people that are good at helping with hardware/software (not me..) will be asking for your computer specs. Just a heads up. Good Luck!

Trunk Monkey was trying to get the point across that if you say CE here, most will take it as the free download. Refer to it as PC and all will be better. Do you have an integrated GPU? Those suck and you won't be able to play well with them.

Yeah.

Halo CE=Halo: Custom Edition

Halo PC=Halo (for the) Personal Computer

Someone mentioned this, there should be a "continue anyways" button in that window. That, and a "Dont Remind Me again" checkbox. Click those.

ya if it says "continue anyways" and u click it and Halo works then your comp. is fine for Halo. My friend has a 9800 PRO and he has to click that button every time. Or although u say your comp. meets all the min. specs. most people who are not experienced in using computers will not have heard of, or do not know what a video card is. Basically in gaming it's the most important hardware to have, that creates and improves the grapics shown on ur screen. most comps. come with a crap video card unless u build yours. Unless u have a fairly recent video card u will not be able to play Halo, do u know what card u have?

Even if you think your integrated card meets the requirements, don't ever use it. It just bogs down the CPU.
