When I am playing Halo 2 Vista, every so often, my computer will freeze and crash. The longer I play, the more frequently the crashes come and I know for a fact that it is not a problem with overheating or anything. This problem will cause me to lose all of my progress on my current level because my chackpoints are bugged, and whenever I hit "Resume", I end up starting at the begining of the second level EVERY TIME! Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Or will I have to suffer through it and be forced to replay each level five times through-out the entire game?

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

Alright mate, first things first.

I can see from your two posts and desperate need for a response that you are new to Bungie.net, and your account backs me up. Try reading the Forum Rules and get yourself a bit on track about things here. Do not double post, and I mean "Do NOT double post"! Someone will eventually pop up and try and help you, but patience is the key.

Second, Halo 2 Vista is undoubtedly known as a lackluster port for PC. It is full of bugs, glitches, and many have graphic errors and incompability issues. Try Microsoft Support, although I highly doubt it will help. You might want to grab a copy of Halo PC and steer clear of H2V.

Sorry about the double post, it was entirely accidental. I didn't realize that the Halo 2 forum was specifically for Halo 2 for the 360 and I didn't know how to delete my previous post. Again, I'm really sorry and I didn't mean to. :'-(

Don't be, mistakes happen. ;)

Anyway, I'd suggest you buy a copy of Halo PC on your local Compusa; the community is still strong and faithful.
