Works similar to king of the hill, but with 4 teams and the 'hill' is a capturable fortress that is armed with stationary guns and lots of ammo.

4 teams of 4
1 Firebase in center of map

All the teams have to make a run for the base at the beginning, first one to have a member of their team inside the base without any enemies takes over. To take it back over (from enemy team), you have to kill all the enemies and hold the base for 10-20 seconds. The first team to hold the base for 10 minutes total time wins (or set time).

A good example is kind of like Freedom Fighters multiplayer, where you have to 'raise your flag' to capture the area. It would work in a similair way but with 4 teams fighting for one control point. The control point (firebase) would have to be armed to the teeth though, and have lots of cover for the defending team, like mgs, sniper spots, rockets, ect.

Sounds interesting enough, but where would the team who controls the "fortress" respawn?

I like it, but Creeping_Death has a point. the level of difical would greatly vary depending on where the teems resporn.

But how would this apply to ALL the levels.

If its a gametype, its gotta work on every level.

Well you can play SF-CTF and have one flag in the middle of the map, and have 4 team trying to get it, and take it to a point on the map.

ermmm...your idea is basically Team King. The teams try to capture a point on the map and maintain it for a certain time. You've just copied that but made it more awkward with a base. Also Rachet and Clank: UYA has a game mode called seige so it would be considered cheap for bungie to call it that.

I had an idea from Paintball. RTF. Raise The Flag, it works like this but is different, I'm not sure if its like Freedom Fighters like you said but here goes.

Theres an area in the middle of the map with two flags. If youre on the blue team (for example) you must raise your blue flag by pressing X next to the flag pole and keep your opponants red flag down. The same could go for four teams where each team must keep their flag up and lower the other 2/3 teams flag.

You accumulate time when your flag is highest, you lose time when your flag is lowest (although that losing time can be switched off for a quicker game) and when both flags are either both raised or both lowered (thus the same height) neither team is scoring time.

The team wins by reaching a certain time that can be customised. Defending the flag could call for snipers, vehicle defence etc. (although i'm thinking sniper campers who refuse to freelance may spoil it alittle)

Ok so thats dual flag RTF, you could also have a single flag RTF (like the equivelant of single flag CTF) There is a flag pole near the defenders base. They must defend the flag and keep it from being raised. If the attackers manage to raise the flag and keep it raised for a certain time, they win. Theres a time limit or a kill limit on the game so that the defenders actually have the possibility to win. I thought these would make fine addition to King,CTF, Race, Oddball and Slayer and theres so much to customise.

I think its like a cross between King and CTF. Although it really is similar to King in a way.
