I have a idea for a new gametype for Halo 2.
Heres the idea: Theres 1-8 firehouse(s) and have 1 base for each team, and you can have 2-4 teams. Each firehouse has one flag, each base has one flag that is you're teams color.
Each firehouse and base have some turrents,vehcielc,weapons, and good cover/sinper spots,etc..
You have to try to take control of the firehouse's, the more you take over, and how long you take over them will add to you score.(all the firehouse's are non-controled when the game begains) There are multi ways to play.
10 seconds(or set time)will add 1 point(set points),if you have multi firehouse's it wil X's the time by how many you have, and if you lose a firehouse you lose 2 points(or set points).
For EX: you have 3 firehouse's under control,and you hold them for say 2 minutes then you got 24 points. The first team to 100(or set points)wins (this is called the point system)
*or have it this way: where you have to take over all the firehouse's for 5 minutes(or set time)at one time to win.(this is the war system)
*or play like: when you take control of a firehouse it keeps you're time, and you control multi firehouse's at the same time then it X's you're time by how many firehouse you control. Now you time stays the same when you have control you're not.(So say you had control of a firehouse for 40 seconds then you lose control of the firehouse, you would still have the 40 seconds)
For EX: you have 3 firehouse's under control,and you hold them for 2 minutes then you got 6 minutes. First team to 10 minutes(or set time)wins.(this is the time system)
And to take over firehouse(s) you have to be in a area close to the flag and you have to hold down the X button for 10-20 seconds(or set time), but you can't take over a firehouse when another player from a other team(enemies)is around 15-30 feet of the flag.
And if the firehouse's flag is white then no one has control of the firehouse.
If the firehouse's flag with you're teams color means you have control of that firehouse.
The teams(enemies)base can be took over as well, when you do take control, the base's flag will trun white. It takes 30-45 seconds(or set time thats longer then the firehouse's set time)to take control of enemy base. To take control back of you're own base it takes 5 seconds.(can not be changed) Now if you're base has be tooking over, you can't respawn back to you're own base so you have to respawn to the firehouse(s) you have control of, but if you don't have control of any firehouse(s) then will you get killed you can't respawn. Most important if you take control of enemy base you can not respawn there.
And you respawn at you're base when the game begains, but if you take control of firehouse(s) you can random respawn there too.
*Main goal is to take control of as many firehouse's, and hold them for as long as it takes.
*To win: Get to set points first, or take control of all the firehouse's for set time. Also take control of all you're enemies base's and kill all enemies when there base under you're control.
*Now you can turn off the ablitiy to control the enemies base.
*You can pick the time,and points for every thing but the rebase control.
*You can play the point system, the war system or the time system.
This is gametype is kind of like the BF 1942 gametype.
