I think in halo 2 you should be able to SAVE the last checkpoint IN CO-OP. It is so annoying to have to start over every time, while in co-op. The XBOX could remember your last checkpoint in Single Player, when you select campaign, and would remember your last checkpoint in co-op as well. Thoughts?

I think that was because it was split screen and would slow it right down. As for co-op saves you would need to save it with the right profiles and combining profiles and stuff is just too confusing.

Actually I'd rather liek to see multiplayer co-op.. like syslink and live. so you arent forced to split screen.. especially handy for syslink. and xboxlive would have the voice chat.. so it wouldnt be to hard to coordinate players... and more yet - what if you could have many players for co-op like 1 MC and lots of marines? an 8 player co-op game.. oooh..

but that's probably impossible.. having a large squad of marines.. because i just guess that there will be points in the story where it would be impossible to keep MC AND a troop of marines together...
