Subject: Breaking In - David Aldridge

Many bulls encompass me; strong bulls of Bashan surround me;
they open wide their mouths at me, like a ravening and roaring lion.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint;
my heart is like wax; it is melted within my breast;
my strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to my jaws;
you lay me in the dust of death. -Psalm 22:12-15

I'm glad he works for Bungie and not Infinity Ward....Call of Duty's lag sucks.

I can't imagine Halo 3 without networking.

X-wing and TIE Fighter were probably the two most influential games in my career as well. TIE Fighter sure was hard at times, but totally worth it when you completed an extremely difficult mission.

Keep fixin' up the good work with the netcode. God knows poor netcode can destroy a competitive multiplayer environment, Halo 2 and 3 would have been dead in the water had there been any more lag problems.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I bet you Bungie guys could pound out an XBL clone of X-Wing vs Tie fighter in about a day or so. *hint hint hint!

I make a mean sausage stew.Recipe or it doesn't happen.

Exalted is considered "the highest" because you can't get any bans or warnings of any kind for quite a long time, which is harder than just being a member for a long time.

Thanks Urk

I remember X-Wing and Tiefighter. I still have the collector's editions. Even to this day I'll still play them on the decade-old Macintosh I have.

These stories keep making me want to work for Bungie and/or become a game designer.

But I would really love to talk to someone in the industry one on one about what I can do from a pre-college standpoint.
