I would like eveyone to know that I am in no way trying to copy hikaru or anything like that, I am merely sharing some of my Halo knowledge with other people. If you haven't already read part one of the guide(covering the ghost and warthog), I reccomend you do so now. Or, if you just want to know strategies for defeating the tank and banshee, keep reading. I will be listing around 3 tricks for defeating each vehicle. If you've been having trouble with vehicles, and this guide was helpful, please tell me when you are done reading. It would be greatly appreciated if I could get some commentary so I if anyone needs a more in-depth explanation of a tip, I could give them one. Anyway, here's my guide.

THE BANSHEE: Our first strategy guide today is for the banshee. Now, the banshee is a bit of a challenge because a) it flies, b)it has a fuel rod gun, and c)it is the only vehicle where the drivers head is not exposed. That means no headshots on the drivers(crap). So sniping is off the table, unless you want really want to. The only real good ways to down a banshee involve rockets and plasma grenades(yes, plasma grenades).First we'll talk about rockets. "Rockets, I need rockets fast!" is ususally the first thing that pops into a players head when they see an enemy banshee. This causes them to act impulsively and shoot wildly at the banshee, eventually exhausing their ammo. A banshee pilot can usually avoid this frenzy by going higher in the air, or just flying away, then they kill them. You must not overreact when you get the rockets, or the frenzy will take over. Instead, wait for a good shot, and try not to let the banshee know u have the launcher. This is done simply by switching to your other weapon. Then, you can either sneak up on the banshee then shoot it, or wait for it to try and ram you, then wip out the rockets and go to town. Use these same tactics when using plasma grenades. The best time to use plasmas and/or rockets is when the banshee is assaulting your base and hovering in the air, it is easily shot down while in this state. Just remember be patient and wait for a good shot, and avoid the frenzy. One more strategy for banshees before we go. Turrets and tanks. Take the gunner position in an undriven hog, as it is easier to aim when not being driven. Tanks are a no brainer if you have them.

THE SCORPION TANK: Ah, yes, now it's time for the big boy. Un tank`e grande (rvb quotes do come in handy once in a while). All the basic rules apply here. Wait for a good shot, don't go into the frenzy(see above), stuff like that. But there are also some tank exclusive strategies. Whenever assaulting a tank, wait for it to fire it's main cannon once. The tank's reload time is four seconds. This gives you a small window of time to attack. Start with some gunfire on the driver, as it will open him up for a 'nade that should ultimsately finish him off.I reccomend any of the plasma weapons for this, as they take away sheilds fast, and in the end, an unsheilded player is grenade fodder. Or, you could use the plasma grenade/rocket strategy I discussed earlier(but what fun would that be). There is one more strategy for the tank driver who turns the tank's back to you, which makes him harder to kill. It involves decoys, so there may be some casualties involved, but oh well. First, send a hog to the spot where the tank is parked. Stay around 50-100 yards away from the tank, hide the hog behind some cover, so the tank can't see it yet.Point the back of the hog to the tank, and let the gunner wail on him. While all this is happening, a sniper will be covertly approaching the tank's side. The hog people should stay alive and keep the tank distracted for as long as possible. The decoys can use some improv here, any way the decoys can think of to stay alive and keep th tank focused on them will work. the sniper must then take out the driver with a headshot from their rifle. Any decoys may kill infantry supporting the tank in order to keep the sniper unnoticed. Those are my tips for the tank, and this was my guide to defeating vehicles in Halo:part#2. Remember, if you have any comments, please post them.
