They would have to write an entirely differnt storyline, because Masterchief's attitude and entire character would have to be different.

Of course, you could play Linda in co-op?

THAT would be cool. You could even throw in lines for her to say during gameplay.

The idea of having a girl is kinda stupid! Its a game, come on! gender selection with the chief! You really cant ttelll either way besides when the masterchief says something! And thats what, like 1 times per level!!!

The Multiplayer, on the other hand, is open to that possibility. While Single Player is supposed to take place entirely from John's perspective, we know that there are 4 other Spartans still alive, and there might be a different build for the multiplayer... but I doubt it.

most games, i say thats a good idea. but since its halo, and everyone is a spartan anyway, thats not so great. because, you know, they all kinda look alike. like, completely identical. but yeah, like I said, in a game where it makes sense, im all for it.

And then they could do the same for tomb raider, where you could play as a guy. but then it's sale's would die.

We need more female heroes and anti heroes!!!

Seriously, if you go and read some of the more modern fantasy novels, that's all that you get! Go and read some Tamora Pierce books if you REALLY want some female heroes (Yes, I read them all, and yes, you should too) I recommend the Lionness Quartet.

you have to admit, alot of the sports today, the males would win over the girls, but in this case, while playing videogames, i thnk it doesnt matter wat gender you are

Were its sales ever alive?

Anyways, How would you know that you character was a female in Halo anyways, your in a mjolnir armor and have a reflective visor.
It doesnt matter to me if you gave selection, I mean I play the coolest looking/best character on the selection screen(if there is one).
I just find femaules kinda flimsy really, I mean what would you rather have going into battle?
Men with huge muscles and are extrmely tough, or some flimsy women who cant hold a gun? (I know some women CAN hold a gun and stuff, but who would you rather have watching your back).
Selection would be OK I guess but it would have to be under differant circumstances.

Actually the armor would make the apperance of the person wearing it look the same as everyone else.So its hard from telling the females from the males,or vice versa.

yes all the spartans look the same in their armour so whats the point? just give yourself a female name online and it'll be realistic because they are identical. as for the main game thats the story of John 117 so it wouldn't work. and please don't suggest female elites for halo 2 multiplayer as i'll just say, "how about, no."

Oni is a great game and as I'm a guy playing as a gal i can't really see why its a problem for people to do it the other way around. Videogames are just for fun there arn't (or shouldn't be) any sex issues.

How can Elites tell the difference from each other without any nametags or color ranks?Like what Zumamee did.
