I got a question for all off the bungie people out there. Why was this week so boring. There were 3 new article (maybe 4 including tonights update). BUt in the first week this new site went up there were maybe 10 or more articles and new information all in the one week alone. I dont want this site going back to its old ways of not getting updated. Please tell me that this week you guys were busy in the studio making and test HALO 2.

Consider last week something of a "New Bungie.net opening celebration." Bungie isn't going to be posting new screenshots every week, if that's what you were thinking.

However, there is still the weekly update (the next of which will probably be out in a couple hours), and the previous articles of this week. That's still about 300% more information than was posted per week on the old b.net. ;)

This is like the 100th person who has complained about the lack of information. Halo 2 is meant to be a secret fool.
Anyway there is the dirty tricks news and if you go to the gallery they do a compertion every week.

I am not asking for new screenshots cuz i know thats nor i am i asking for demos cuz thas not going to happen. However, i do agree with you that this week is about 300% more infomation then the old b.net.

We will do our best to keep things fresh and interesting but yes, our launch week was special. Naturally we wanted to kick things off with a big bang. Realistically we can't simply crank out that much goodness day after day. There's a lot more to come in the weeks and months ahead, but it's going to be really hard to top our inaugural week.

And I know everyone wants to see more Halo 2 screens and get answers to all of their questions but unfortunately it's not a reality. If you haven't noticed, we keep an air of secrecy around Halo 2 and frankly it would ruin a lot of the fun and surprises if we just came out and showed something every week or so. A lot of game companies crank out screens by the truck load but Bungie isn't one of them. The few screens we do release are carefully thought out and can sometimes take hours to get just the right shot or event. Last year I alone took over 50 screenshots for E3 (plus at least 50 more from mehve)... we settled for the best 7.

The weekly update is something that Frankie goes out of his way to do in an effort to at least share the little bits of information we can with our fans. Sure it's probably not enough for most people, but it's better than nothing.

Everything is proceeding exactly as we have planned.... Hang in there.

Like I've said all along, it's all part of their plan; let them do their thing, and, in the end, we'll all be very happy with the results

I read somewhere on a website like ign.com or gamespot.com not sure that you guys only release screenshots once in a while because that little bit of infomation keeps the gamers waiting for more. And that the gamers are pleased with the release of this new information.

I just have a question once the new game informer is released are you guys at Bungie just going to come out with the screens that are shown there?

The new GI is now showing up almost everywhere, where before it was only in a few places. Go to a local Safeway or Gamestop and you'll usually find it; it doesn't cost much, and it'll be a nice addition to any Halo 2 fan's magazine collection
