How TO: Teamspeak
When you open Teamspeak RC2, you're given a window spit into thirds. The left most part being the player/channel list, the right most being the channel/player description box, and the bottom rectangular section being the log box. These are supposed to be empty when you first start the client.
1. Press "Connection" on the leftmost side of the menubar. Click Connect. It gives you a seperate window with a HUGE list of Teamspeak servers. If you want do directly connect to a server for which you already have an IP for, at the top of this window, click "Local Adressbook".
2. After clickin' Local Adress Book, stare it down. I mean it. If you have the IP of the server you want to connect to, type it into the Server Adress box. You'll need the port number too.
(e.x. 123.456.789.0:7788) the ":" seperates the adress from the port no. You can type whatever the hell you want in the "Label" box. Whatever helps you identify the server.
***PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME SERVERS GO DOWN FOR AN IP CHANGE***
3. At this point, your common sense tells you to click connect cuz' this turd said so. OK, after clicking connect, you sould hear teh Teamspeak lady say "Link Engaged" ond you're done!
I currently play on: HALO game bl24h_TeamSpeak
Current IP: 70.111.166.69:8767
Type: Public (duh)
The server lets you register when you join, so go ahead and get that out of the way if you plan on joining regularly.
Hensai out.
