...I already own it for my X-box? I mean, playing online would be sweet and all, and lotsa custom maps, but does it have enough stuff in it for a big Halo fan like myself to buy it all over again? Thanks.

Yes. You're not only getting the original Halo for your money, you're getting new maps, new weapons, and the Banshee is flyable. That ontop of the free downloadable Halo: Custom Edition makes it a prize catch with user created content such as modified gravity, making the Pelican drivable, new weapons, endless amount of maps and who knows what else since I've last played it.

Just message me on live.

When I got it it stopped working after a while, but was still awesome.

You can download Halo: Custom Edition here.

The most notable place to download maps would probably be halomaps.org.

Yep, you just gotta click 'join' on whatever game looks like fun to you.

Halo CE is definitely tons better than H3 (to me at least), you will enjoy it.

Also, is there a lot of lag? And how do the graphics compare to the X-box version? It may sound odd, but the screens actually looked worse than the X-box one to me.

Graphics should be the same, but I really don't know.

Lag depends, really...just pick a server with a low ping and you should be alright.

From what I understand, ping is a representation of the time it takes for your PC to talk to the host/server PC, so the shorter that time is, the less lag you'll see.

My PC lags a bit when I fire the AR, so there is not as much "oomph" when you fire it on the PC version. You probably don't care, but I love to nag at little things like that. Aside from that, The graphics can get seriously good pumped up on a high-end PC, And I got at Gamestop for just 20 bucks.

Also, will it run rell on my comp? It has five gigs of ram, a 2.20 GHz quad core processor, and a Ge-Force 9300GE (I think it's just integrated though).

Yes, it should run very well actually with that, given you have a sound card and about 1.5 GB available on your hard drive, which most people do. Although, if you want to be sure there is a free trial version available somewhere at microsoft.com.

I can run the trial on Medium settings on my laptop. It's got 2.0 GHz and a GeForce 7000M graphics card, which is garbage.

You're golden.

The Custom Edition had a better shader architecture than the orignial PC release; it looks slightly better.

The truth has been spoken.

Also, the PC's awsomeness excells the graphics and makes them very crisp.
Much more enjoyable to look at.
