When I play on play on the internet with Custom Edition of Halo sometimes it kicks me out during the middle of the game and tells me that "Game has closed down" and then when I click on search for list, the game is still on with the same # of people.

Huh... I've never experienced anything like this on CE. I remember it happened to me once or twice on regular Halo PC, but I would just go to a different server and get on with having fun. I never thought much of it. Unless this happens consistently, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just go find a different game to play in. :)

I did have some initial ideas, but none of them seem to match your symptoms. I'm pretty sure when a mod kicks you from their server, it will actually tell you that "You have been kicked" or "You have been banned" from that particular server. It could also be due to a poor connection, I suppose, but it will usually tell you "Network Connection Lost" or something like that.

Weird. Maybe someone else can chime in here.

I've had this problem loads of times with CE and especially with PC. Mine usually happens when a new game is about to begin. I don't think it's connection issues since I have DSL and a pretty good conenction. Not sure why I'm knocked off while everyone else is still on. I can only guess it's the computer not loading the map fast enough since I'm always kicked off when it begins to load a new map.

The idea of getting banned...it tells you that youve been banned from the server. Unfortunately I am speaking from experience ;)

i used to have this problem. its a simple fix (or it was for me anyways). if you got win xp, go to system properties (right click on my computer, go to properties). go to "advanced", then click on the settings button under "performance" then click on advanced. what i did was changed "processor scheduling" from "background servics" to "programs". sorry i dont know how to do it in other os. if your "processor scheduling" is already on programs then i odnt know what to do. good luck.
