I myself only own a PC to play Halo on, and as much as I hate to admitt it Halo2 probably won't come to PC, the only reason the first Halo came to PC is because it was SUPPOSED to be released on PC FIRST if X-Box at all, but Microsoft bought the rights of Halo from Bungie when Halo was almost finished, so Microsoft had Bungir convert Halo to an X-Box game and was competed and released as an X-Box game. So now that there is now Halo 2 PC partialy complete there probably won't be a Halo 2 PC.
Wrong. Everything that Bungie was doing for the PC previous before Microsoft bought them out was gone and deleted. Halo Xbox was build from scratch up for the Xbox because the Xbox uses different hardwares from the PC. The Halo Xbox game was then ported to the PC 100%, not used from what was left in 1999. And from there, Gearbox used the engine to redo the multiplayer game and make the engine workable on the current graphic card. Whatever was in 1999 that was made for Halo is in an archive disk at Bungie. As for a Halo 2, a company doesn't need a partial complete game to finish porting the PC. All they need is the program to convert the maps, models, sounds, and graphic from the Xbox to the PC. Since the maps are already completed, they need to code it to work on the PC. Given that Microsoft is capable of operating the world computer using Windows XP, porting a game is nothing difficult to them. The only thing that is difficult to them is whether to put money for Halo 2 PC or no Halo 2 PC. I suggest you view the Halo Evolution video as Bungie employees tell how Halo was build from the scratch.
