Subject: I was walking through a Ghost Town when...

I suddenly saw an Assembly of Elites. I quickly ran through the Narrows until I saw a Cold Storage. I ducked inside and started to Construct a plan that would get me out of this Rat's Nest. I started trying to come up with a plan that would let me get past the Guardian. I decided to reach into my Sandbox of escape Plans and couldn't think of anything. While looking at the Snowbound mountains I decided that it would be best if I took the High Ground and ran away.

As I left the Cold Storage I was hit by a cloud of gas and started to Blackout. Before I lost full awareness I could hear one of the Elites mutter, "Take him to The Pit."

As soon as I came to I took a look at my surroundings and realized that there was a Sandtrap to the left of me. I looked up at my captor and asked, "What do you want of me?"

He asked me what I knew about the Foundry of the UNSC. I lied and told him, "The UNSC was used as a Last Resort for the Isolation of those deemed to have commited Treason to Earth's Forces"

He looked at me and said that he didn't believe me. Finding myself in a Standoff I realized that I would need to come up with an Avalanche of info in order to hold off my death. I looked to my right at the nearest Orbital Sattelite and remembered an Epitaph that I had read as a Recruit, "When confronted with Death a true Soldier looks him in the face and asks him for the direction to the nearest Sandbox to play in."

I looked the Elite in the eyes and told him to shove it where it don't shine. As he pulled out his Energy Sword I looked up and readied myself for the entry into Valhalla.

See if you can come up with your own story that uses the names of all the maps of Halo 3.
(Yes, I know my story sucks, that's what I am asking you to come up with a better one then me. This only took me about 20 minutes from conception to posting. If you think about it a little harder then you think about most things then I am pretty sure you can come up with something better then what I came up with.

"If something is easy, broken, cheap or can be abused, majority of the population will support it as a legit and or skilled concept/idea. Whatever people like and or love, they will thrive on it because no matter how broken it maybe, they do not like change."

The assembly of the covenant forces at Valhalla Ridge only meant one thing: War is coming. As Kelly set her armored hand on my slacked right shoulder, I looked up from my crouch and scout position. She could see my expression through our visor and she knew I was fearing the lost of our Orbital MAC Gun generators. We Spartans never lost a battle before, but this one...this fight we've been assigned to, was almost suicide by its nature. I gripped my sniper rifle once more and peered into the narrows of scope. As I looked far ahead, I counted the Convenant Vehicles like toys in a sandbox.

"Fifteen Wraith Mortor Tanks, five Phantoms soaring the skies, eight Prowlers, twenty Ghosts, six Shade enplacements, ten Shadow transport vehicles, thirteen Banshees and four Choppers." as I read them off in a listed sentence. Kelly whistle at the pure accuracy of my hawk like eyes. Though we had the high ground as an advantage, they had numbers for theirs. They even had a Covenant Flag ship as a last resort if their forces should fail in battle.

"Why don't they just glass this place?" Kelly wondered as she looked over at the small town along with the Mac Gun Generators. "There must be a reason they have gone to all this trouble of exercising their military force."

My thoughts ran quickly as they were aligned with her question. Something about this didn't feel right. They usually only send forces out if they are searching for some kind of relic, artifact, or a construct of the Forerunners. I stood up slowly as my feet gained balance on the grass hills of Maltinvas. "I'm going to do a round about check around the Cold Storage house areas inside the town." I professionally reported to Kelly, Fred and Linda.

Inside the town of Maltinvas laid nothing but the empty isolation of buildings, rat's nest and other creatures of lesser forms. This town had been titled Ghost Town many times due to the lack of population in the past.

I had swapped my sniper rifle for Linda's battle rifle before I cruised the town in search for anything that did not belong. Near the storagehouse where the coolants for the generators were placed, there was a black pit that seemed bottomless. My hud lights shined into the pit as my eyes peered into the hole. It had appeared to be ten feet deep and wide enough for a human to drop into. I made the quick decision to jump in and to take a look around. The black hole that seemed to be a pit only turned out to be a man made tunnel of some sort.

A light shined at the end of the tunnel and overwhelmed my vision and caused my helmet to blackout. After a few moments my helmet regained power and my vision cleared again. Before me, a crystalline rock floated above the tunnel ground and glowed bright red. My hands instinctively took the unknown rock and I slowly climbed out of the pit. For now I was the guardian of this artifact which became so clear in my mind that this is the target of what the Covenant has begun to persue in Maltinvas.

The rock shook in my palm for a split seconds then followed by the ground shaking. I quickly stopped my in my steps and thought about what this crystalline rock could do. It could possibly start an avalanche among snowbound mountain ranges. This is indeed what I had found fishy about the Covenant sending forces on land to assault this place. It felt almost like walking into a sandtrap; Not knowing what their intentions we're and fighting blindly without the source.

Without further hesitation, I sprinted with all my strength to our standoff location. They all had to know, before it's too late.
