A simple message, directly aimed at Bungie itself,

Please, please, please can the forum be closed or can all REAL Halo 2 plots and twists be blocked by the Moderators between Nov.9th and 11th, us Brits may get the plot of the game before it even arrives on our doorstep.

Now i know that everyone American will just say that we should just not log on to website for two days, but thats hardly fair is it? to allow all Americans access to speak about this new THING and that new THING, whilst us Brits are sweating it out trying desparately to stay away from the forums??

And what if we wanna look up the weekly update Archive's, or the screenshot renders etc. etc.

So i ask you this simple request, please do not let slip any news about Halo 2 and its plots/twists, at least until Nov. 11th..

Thanks

Well it's only two days when you think about it. But two days is enough time for a lot of the game to be spoiled. My advice to all the U.K. players is going to be exactly what i'm going to do, starting from the time the game comes out, do not log on to the forums. Because there will be a ton of information from storyline spoilers, to new tricks people have discovered. I'm even considering not logging on to the forums from the point when the strategy guide is released, because some people are such halo fanatics, that they would rather read every spoiler about the game before it's even in their hands to play. And i'm sure those people will have the same carelessness as any other person in their *spoiler* marked topics.

from what ive learned about halo2 so far tho is that its going to take at least a day to beat it...so the first day of posting will be filled with things like "this is awesome" and the talk of the earlier levels..but im willing to bet within 12 hours of it being released people will be jabbering bout the ending...so will I mind you.(UBER GAMER HERE)

There is a fine line between devotion and obsession, you my friend, have crossed it. Just don't log on to the site, it's only two days...and yes, I am American.

I am gonna have nightmare's a few day's before it comes out here, like the shipment gone wrong or something like that.
PS. how long do you think the total gameplay is?

Personally I think it'll take a while to finish the game! I mean they say the stages are 5 times bigger (i think correct me if Im wrong) than AotCR, and that takes me a while to complete, so if all stages are of a similar size then it'll take a fair while to complete!
Also about closing down the forums or blocking *spoiler* articles, I dont agree, I mean this is a Halo 2 forum where people come to discuss Halo 2. People should feel free to talk about Halo 2, even the plot twists, as long as they put *spoiler* in their post's title I wont mind! Also you wont need to log onto the forums, I mean in the two days before it comes out what could you possibly talk about?? Everything that can be speculated most likely will already have been talked about, so for those two days before I get my copy of Halo 2 I will just avoid this Halo 2 forum!
P.S. I am British!

oo i live near birmingham too :D

think it's a bit unfair that bungie did this to UK halo players, but could be considered good actually. Because of this, it will probly b a lot easier to take Friday off to play Halo....would have been difficult to take wednesday, thursday, and friday off. I'm liking this change, although I wish the American dates had been changed as well cos that's just slightly unfair that they get it earlier :P

Just don't log onto the forums. I live in the US and I'm not going to any Halo sites from the time the Strategy guide is released until I beat the game. People are stupid and will ruin for others for certain. I'm still kicking myself for having read spoilers of the original Halo before I played the game.

Besides I bet half the posts on November 9th will be stupid people making either one of two posts:

"I got it!"

or

"I can't find the game anywhere!"
