I heard Halo pc doesn't have co-op. Is there a mod for co-op or something? Thanks.

this is something i want to know myself......it would probably have to be custom edition, and youd have to load each map or something if it does exist...

A half decent attempt was made, but it was still horribly buggy and couldn't be completed.

It goes to show though that if somebody could (mostly) do it using the tools they had to work with for CE, then there wasn't really a reason why Gearbox couldn't have done it themselves in the first place.

Well that's rather disappointing for me. I was hoping to play co-op with my bro without the extreme lag when playing the original X-box version on my 360. Oh well, thanks anyway. :)

Hey, wait a sec, is there less lag if you buy it off X-box originals? And does it run in High-def that way? Off topic, I know, but this are mah thr3adz and l r gon d00 waht i watn wth it!!!11!one!!!

EDIT: when I said lag, I meant frame-rate issues, not online stuff.

Probably not, but can't say I'd even bother trying it from Xbox originals. No way would I pay again for a game I already own on both platforms.

I played Halo on the 360 with a couple of friends a while back, and the framerate/timing was indeed horrible.

You can play single player mods with a friend. The problem is that often AI will not act the same, as it is decided locally and doesn't sync with other players. If it's a map with limited AI you might get by, otherwise it'll be extremely difficult for the nonhosts.

However, there are a few maps such as the obstacle course/puzzle maps which I found fun to play through in coop.

Wish Halo 3 PC would come out sooner... :(

Examples of co-op.

A Multiplayer map with the BSP of Metropolis Bridge, and AI

In Halo 2,the AI syncs, but you won't see animations, just Movement. AI in Vehicles are much better cause all Vehicle Animation must sync.

Is in Charge of the Halo CE3 Online Expo and the Host!

Yeah what he said there is a horrible problem with ai's. People have made co op levels but everyone whos played them know that ai never sync. Take a map called "The mummy" for example. One person could be shooting at the mummy but you dont see it but you do see the mummy in front of you and you die. and of course the other player asks but he was in front of me. and this kinda ticks me off that the ai dont sync! because go back to the marathon game that you can play on the pc now. the ai sync in co op but why didnt bungie make the ai's in halo sync. We will never know.

Reality is just a crutch for people who can't cope with drugs.
X-Fire: new420

so they could list it as a new feature in halo 3
