Calling DR WE1RD! I've read his thread, and tried all of the suggestions. I want to play Halo 2 on a Gold account that I started last September with a 12 Month Card. I have one account that can log into H2 right now, but when I select "Register New Account" for Xbox Live in the H2 Lobby, it kicks me back to the NXE Dashboard. I've also tried adding a New Account when I've logged into the one Gold account that I have on H2 and gone to the Content Download section.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Huh. That is kinda strange. The only thing I can think of is when you are in your new account in the dashboard is to make sure that your family settings are not enabled. If they are not enabled and you are still having issues, your gonna have to call xbox support. I wish I could be more help, but I have never heard of this problem before.

Really easy. When you boot the 360, it will say you are signed-in. As long as you are signed-in you will not be able to create another account. It has nothing to do with H2.

Steps:
Boot 360
360 dash reads 'Signed-in' for the Profile Tab on your current account
Click Profile Tab
Switch profile (you will be signed-out) and you will be spit back to the 360 dash
Go right back into that same profile and the menu will now have 'Join Xbox Live' at the top
Click on that to make a new account
Be happy

Note: It will never have that 'Join Xbox Live' on the menu if you are already signed-in.

One more thing, if you are trying to create a new profile in order to make a new account, it may not show on the Profile Page if you have too many profiles. If so, delete unused profiles intil the one you want appears. This is more for others who are having problems, probably not you, at creating profiles for new accounts.

I'm not sure that you got the gist of what I was trying to say. This account is Xbox Live enabled, I just can't get on H2 with it. Its not a child account, and I have no family settings.

(When I'm in the Halo 2 Menu)
I sign into my local profile, and then it prompts for which Xbox Live profile to sign into. The options go: "Don't Sign In / Account1 / Account 2 / Account 3 // .. etc .. / Register New Account"
The account I want to play on is not listed, and I can't get it into the list.

If that's not clear enough, I'll try to explain more.

You're right, I thought you just wanted to make another account and couldn't.

How many accounts do you have? Maybe there's a limit on what is shown on that screen. Do you have to have all the accounts? If you have a few, you might need to delete in order to gain the account you want but I'm not sure.

You should call MS like Dr WE1RD said and just ask them how many accounts will show on that menu. Seems like there's got to be a limit.

Also, that info on the H2 dash about accounts comes from the 360 dash profiles. I know that people have complained about new profiles not showing up there until they deleted a profile because they had too many. If you delete an unused profile you could always reaquire later.
