Actually, Bungie already said that you'll goto the covenant homeworld in Halo 2 a long time ago.

Read the Halo 2 FAQ, they say that "Master Chief will take the battle to the Covenant."

if you watch the halo 2 documentary you would remember the part where it shows the 3-d camera veiw of the phrophet.if you look at the background you can see the covenant home-world.thats proof enough that you go to the covenant home-world on halo 2.

Devil is Double is Deuce and Joker always trumps Deuce.

That could mean many different things. But I think we will be going there though.

I would have to agree with Jupiter. Although in the doc, there are some glimpses of some weird place that has been destructed, and could be something from what Eagle 117 has said.

Oh my gosh. Tell me if I'm missing out, but, didn't Bungie say you were just going to go in Covenant gas giants? Did they say you were going to their actual home-world? I just thought you were going to different gas giants...

  • 07.11.2004 10:36 PM PDT

like it is said above, read the FAQ if you have doubts, it says that you will bring the fight to the Covenant, which to me means that you will fight on Covenant territory...yes This could mean many things, but I think that you will fight on a Covenant planet, and since the Covenant are an alliance of many species, there are more than one homeworld, so you might fight on one or more of these homeworlds. But perhaps you will fight on the main covenant planet, like a main base planet or something...

just a reminder the earth isnt a gas giant but its covered in gas, oxygen. and the grunts dont breathe oxygen they breathe methane, which i believe is common on gas giants...but im not sure. and if they were from a gas giant that would explain why they are so short and stubby, because of so much gravity.

Well Joseph says in the documentary that you take battles to Covenant gas giants.

And like XSniped said, you could take battles to many Covenant planets. They might have colonies on different planets like the humans too, you know.

How I would see it, is take out the prophet homeworld as they control everything, and if you take out prophets there will be chaos among the covenant; they may not know who to trust and may rebel against each other.

i was playing halo one day and started thinking why dose the grunts have life support things?
maybe their from a planet that dosen't have air? maybe they beath gas? maybe rocks? i don't know...so i keept going and though of somin else "the hunters" how did they make the metal that they use for thos shilds of theirs? where dose it come from? hmmmm....
so i keept going and got to the level where u have to save the captin and u have to go though all the flood guys and alin guys...well i started thinking, why didn't the covlint ally with the humans? couse both of us are geting kill why not make a peace? it would make sence don't yea think?....so i keept going and then i say that loser montor thing why can't u kill him? i shoot and i shoot but he never gose down is it his shilds? couse if it is i want them -.-
is it the stuff hes made out of?or maybe the programers just though that it would be to easy and made a harder way to killl him"like hog tieing him and then hot wireing him so that he would blow up in a very big exploion so that it kills all people and alines around him...lmao"

so if u would like to add to this go on do it :D
