Im sorry that this is my first post on this amazing site.

When I read the news item on the prize I was blown away. That would be my absolute dream to come to the studio and see the game in action, what Bungie fan would turn that down. This has to be the contest of all contests, ever in the world to this day, in the universe, ever!

However its not all that fair that the competition is only open to U.S. residents.

I can understand why the main prize is as it would cost a lot more money to fly someone from say Europe or Australia to Washington than it would from Florida, and as there may be possible problems with visas etc and maybe yes the xbox prize will be NTSC so there is little point offering that to other territories.

But you could at least give us "Rest of the world" fans something to enter for, I would hope that at least Frankie and Butcher can relate with us non americans. I would be pleased with a competition to win a calaender, some stickers, even the fluff off the studio carpet.

After all the whole idea behind this forum and Bungie itself is :-" a clandestine organization working towards WORLD domination"

Like I said at the start SORRY for this being my first contribution to the new site, its just that I want that prize man, no fair, booo, cry, sniff, ;)

I agree. I'm sick and tired of all this US only stuff. Sweepstakes, prize draws, MMORPG beta testers etc. This is the WORLD wide web ffs!

Yeah you're right. I mean, I voted for the "USA rocks" option just to be an ass. But seriously, it must suck for you non-US folk.

We definitely have some plans to kick off a non-U.S. contest in the near future. Unfortunately, as you noted in your post, the specifics of this contest dictated that we only open it to people in the U.S.

I know you're not alone in your disappointment, and I also know we have a LOT of great fans outside the U.S. This is a bummer, but we are going to at least try to offer up something to our members outside the U.S. with our next contest.
