Would it be good to be able to "cook" a grenade in Halo 2. In Halo 1 the plasma grenade was horrible.Took forever to blow up.Only time it killed any1 really was in easy.By the time it explodes the enemy has moved. The frag grenade was far better due to as soon as it hits the ground it blows in a second. Cooking a grenade would help to make the plasma grenade worth while.ONly thing it was good for was sticking it on a grunt then it runs into the rest of the covenant.

P.S: Cooking a grenade means having the grenade ticking in your hand b4 u throw it.So it explodes sooner. If your not careful.BOOM.There goes you

The only thing I fear from cooking grenades is uber harsh nade spamming, plus, I believe timing to be part of the skill in tossing grenades and they may become too cheap with a cook off feature... actually I wouldn't really mind either way... as long as the nade spamming doesn't happen (it is horrible in some maps on Call of Duty).

Edit: Oh ya, and Call of Duty doesn't have cooking off, but on this one server I play, there is a mod which allows you to do so.

No, it is called cooking off, that is even how they refer to it in the training in Americas Army (which just so happens to be developed by the army).

Thats crayz, who''d wanna cook a plasma grenade... they'll stick to the roof of your mouth 3 times worse then peanut butter. And they taste bad, trust me.

i wouldnt really like the feature, and it would'nt be too smart to do with a frag, and if you did it with a plasma, it would stick to your hand!

So umm, how would it work?

Baking, or whatever you call it should be left out, period. That's the last thing this guy said when I "pwned him"

Guy: Gee I wish you could cook grenades in this...then I'd kill you.

Pff. I wasn't even trash talking and the man has the audacity.
