I want to get H2V but I don't know if my computer is good enough. I'm sorry, I know there are a lot of threads like this but please help. What are the system requirements to run this game? Also, how can I find If I meet the requirements? I'll appreciate any help.

you at least need a video card. If you don't meet the requirements just wait until you get a new computer. Don't buy the game because you won't be able to play it.

ummmm can you tell me the model and brand name of your computer. Also go into the system settings and there should be a place where there is information about your computer.

I have a Compaq Pressario, model: SR5250NX. Oh and thanks for helping me out. Most people on the Halo 3 and Flood forums aren't to nice. :D

I understand you have a Compaq Presario but what series is it? for example: CQ60Z Series.

you see the series number is differnet than the model number. If I have the series number then I I'll be able to know exactly what your cumputer's specs are.....ok??

oh and Direct X 10 is something different not the video card :)

Memory Installed 1 GB
Maximum allowed 2 GB (2 x 1 GB)
Speed supported PC2-5300 MB/sec
Type 240 pin, DDR2 SDRAM

Hard drive
320 GB SATA 3G (3.0 Gb per sec)
7200 rpm

Video Graphics
Integrated graphics Intel GMA 950 (256 MB)

I don't think you can play Halo 2......But the great thing about Desktop PC's is that you can customize them! You can buy a better ATI Radeon or nVidia graphics card. It seems on the Compaq website there is also memory upgrade options so........you have options lol.

Hey guys I checked my specs and I'm pretty sure I meet the minimum requirements so I may pick this game up in about a month. Also should I buy a wired controller for xbox 360. I need one anyway and does it play well with H2V?

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

360 controller works well with H2V.

You, like many many others, are a casual a gamer. I know this because people who understand competitive gaming know that having a "god weapon" is vital to competitive play. Reach's sandbox makes you choose a weapon and stick to it's niche. But when you have a dominant all-purpose weapon, you are free to move around the map. When you can navigate the entire map, you are suddenly given many more options strategically, and being able to find the best option is indeed a skill.

Sure, if you fork out the cash.

Unless it's wired. That's a different story.

He said wired. Even the wired controller is overpriced though.
