The Sniper Rifle in Halo fired 14.5mm armored piercing fin-stbilized discarding-sabot rounds. Sabot rounds are the same thing as what they use in Tanks. There depleted uranium shells and they are way more advanced than any rifle today. Also it's round is a anti-material munition meant to go through armor. So what does this mean for Halo 2? Does this mean is we aim right we can take out a warthog's engine block or a wraith's fuel core? If someone is hiding behind so cover can we fire through and get the kill? Post your idea's here.

well a bullet is a bullet and if you shoot a warthogs fusion core its going to explode but the worthogs fusion core will be very hard to shoot and you probaly would have to be at the right angle at the right time.
but if the vehicleis really damaged and the fusion core is exposed it will be very easy to shoot

But this isn't a normal bullet. It's a depleted uranium shell that actually uses propellant to accelarate mid flight and literally rip into a armored target with ease. And that would be sweet if a bunch of elite's got in a Shadow and then BOOM a well placed shot take's it down and kills all the passengers.
