Subject: How Do You Boot Someone?

How do you boot someone out of the game long after they betray you? I've had several instances where I've accidentally betrayed someone and then I'll play for about another two minutes or so and then all of a sudden I am booted out. So how do you boot someone long after it happens? Sometimes I am hesitant to boot someone right at the beginning of the game because it may just have been an accident but as the game goes on they are playing around and betraying people, so at that point I'd like to boot them out from the earlier betrayal.

If you decline the option to boot a player when the screen comes up, there's no way to go back later and remove them from the game. You'll either have to wait until they betray you again and you see the 'boot screen', or just continue to play the game.

I'm pretty sure you can. This has happened to me several times where I betray someone but they don't immediately boot me out but a couple minutes later I am booted out even though I haven't betrayed someone since the first betrayal. So I want to know how to do that.

I've already read all of the halo books today you stupid nerd. Plus Halo:Fall of reach twice.

On Halo 3 you hold the back button and you can walk around. when you release the back button the option appears. Not sure about halo 2.
