me and my friends play online all the time and we are pretty good and we like to have inf nades on but tons of people call us noobs for does anyone think inf nades are for noobs and if so why

I think they are for –CENCORED-, personally. Not that you're a -CENCORED- or anything, but I just hate "inf nades".

It's simple: it's really easy to grenade spam if inifinite grenades is on, ie just keep throwing grenades wherever. First off it's just really annoying and quite cheap, and it lags a hell of a lot of if you have a lot of plasma grenades going. With finite grenades, it makes them much more valuable and the game more interesting.

Yeah, and I think the point of the plasma grenades being off hidden somewhere is because they're really actually useful to stick to warthogs, tanks, faces etc so the idea is to work for your right to stick explosive things to other fragile things.

ya but i still dont see why people think its noobish to have it on even if you dont abuse it

That is because people will abuse it. Doesn't matter if you would, but someone will always come and ruin it.

this is why its n00bish

im in a warthog, your chuckin plasma nades at me. i dodge 4 of them and attempt to run you over, you throw a 5th and kill me.

thats why its cheap...you have no limit to how many you can throw. its too cheap to pin people down with a constant shower frag nades,or throw like 10 plasma grendes onto my scorpion. its just cheap. it makes the greandes more valuble when you can only carry 8 (4 frag 4 plasma)

And in a FFA at BG when you're in a ghost and spawn killing people (yes I do, and it's makes my kills go higher, lol) by running them over when you're about to run someone over and they stuck a plasma to you. Sorry for the run on sentence. Infinite grenades are cheap and they will be because no one will ever run out.

I think Infinite Grenades is cheap, along the lines of camping over-shields. I hate power-up campers, it just lacks taste. I always turn finite grenades on. That way you don't start with explosive power. (Expert grenade users only need one, and I have met many in my days). This isn't really a problem after you have 5 or more people though, seeing as how the game doesn't allow it.

**Edit** Left out an "s"

I can see the advantages of infinate grenades, I often pull the left and find I don't have nades but that's part of the game. If you're with friends and people aren't being retarded with their infinite grenades then I don't see any problem with that.

Me and my friends only use infinate grenades when we want a little match while we're waiting for someone to come back from the shop, eat their tea, go get something from home or take a s**t. We don't class it as a game, but more like something to do to burn time.

We need to burn time to get that player back because we like team games that are balanced. We don't like 'free for alls' because of screen-looking, so we stick to team games and put each team in a different room.

If 2 people drop out we're sorted because we have even teams and carry on playing as normal.

Try this for size when you need to burn some time:
* Gametype: Slayer or Oddball (No teams, you can have unbalanced teams if you want. Crank the points up as high as you can).
* Players: Any ODD amount (if you have an even amount of players then what are you doing?
* Map: Blood Gulch, Sidewinder and Hang 'Em High are probably the best
* Player Settings: No Shields, 50% Health (or normal if you want the game to last a little longer).
* Weapon Settings: Rockets Only, infinate Grenades
* Extras: No Motion Tracker (if oddball, 1 ball and objective indicator on. If team slayer, no friend indicators).

Now begin and see how long the game lasts! Its pure carnage!

wouldnt spawn killing in a ghost be more cheap

Well everyone should team up and load me with the AR. They should of killed me at the beginning of the game if they didn't want me in the ghost. CTF is good for spawn killing as well. I think that the ghost is the most cheap vehicle though especially on BG.

Spawn killing is the lowest and cheapest tactic. Fact.

It depends if you want nothing but fast frantic action, or slower paced killing that involves more skill and planning. It just depends on what you feel like doing.
