Does anyone know if your visor (your screen) will start gaining scratches and dust etc from attacks and conditions?

I hope it has a windshield wiper.

We've all seen it in Mace Griffin, and we've all seen MACE GRIFFIN in action.

I say NAY to the dancing HUD.

Thats just ugly, it would be realistic, but which other game has that? It just would be a waste of time to program that into the game.

Some racing games have similar feature...you know like mud and dirt getting on the windshield and obstructing the view somewhat. It would be pretty cool if something like that were used with the master chiefs visor. I wouldn't want anything to totally obstruct my view, but a few scratches and some dust would add to the realism.

Ok the idea of punching an elite in the face and having him spit blood onto my visor or shotting a grunt in the head and gooy blood splatter my face kinda gives me this excited tingling sensation all over. Heh, but you would need some way to wipe it off.

Jump in a pool of plasma that would get the blood off!

I think a good example of making this a gameplay feature is Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. When you're playing as a Mercenary online, if you walk into a venting fire extinguisher...it fogs your screen and you can't see for a while. It's cool, but Halo has a very distinct gameplay, and I don't know how well something like this would fit in

i think it should do that when your health starts to get low, but if you get a health pack to restore your health then the visor should clear up. if it does do that though it should be a light amount because it would suck to have a lot of stuff in your vision blocked from it

It would be better on the armor.
