Ok, this forum is pretty much dead (with a few exceptional people working for a game they love), but I don't want to risk getting banned, so...

Ok. I have the Halo PC Trial. I keep on trying to make a game on the internet so my friend or friends can join, because I have some pretty good game types (shh!). However, they keep on getting a "failure to join game" message. I'm certain it's on my side, so how can I get the ability to let people join games? It works fine on LAN.

Shorter, simpler version: You know all of the trial games that say "Halo" and if you attempt to join them, you can't connect to them? That's my problem.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

If you're using a router, try http://www.portforward.com. If not, go into your firewall settings and open up port 2302 UDP.

umm.... I'll try that. Thanks.

Also, I checked my IP in the game and the last line said 2302.
