about the bumps/hills and turns;

TURNS- To increase size of passageway/storage (all the side doors) they would make it go everywhere possible
HILLS- personally i thought this obvious - the ship was warped in the crash. i've seen footage of bridges doing similar things in earthquakes.

Yeah, but bridges arent made of 2 meters of Titanium A metal, and they wouldnt warp like that while leaving the rest of the ship unwarped.

i think i have an answer to the holes in the ceiling question

if you have read first strike then you would know that along all of the ships dorsal structures there are certain "locks" that enable a ship to lock with another damaged ship for towing off of the battle field or sharing power. Those holes may be the locks that hold the two ships together

this happens when cortana takes the Acendent Justice to combine with the Gettysburg in First Strike

why would the PoA have a external axes when the dam ship always stays in space like wouldent a airlock be better
