There are two groups of people in the world - those that hope, and those that wish. The first group hopes that nothing bad will happen. The second group wishes that they are there when it does. Which one are you?

Okay so I can't remember which thread it was, perhaps one of Eagle's gargantuan topics, but I remember debating over whether the "other" installations that 343 GS mentions in Halo 1 are actually not Halos as we know them.
My central argument was that I couldn't ever recall Bungie specifically saying that we would be going to another HALO in H2. While that argument may or may not hold up under scrutiny, I have found the exact evidence that seems to have spawned that idea in my head.
At the end of the Halo2 documentary, Joseph Staten says " To take the player from the ruins of Halo to...these ancient forerunner facilities in the atmospheres of gas giants, it's sort of a galactic romp that's going to keep the player on the edge of his seat wondering where am I going to be and what do I get to do when I get there."
First, why would Joe differentiate between Halo and other forerunner facilities if they were the same thing. Second, Joe cannot be talking about a Halo as we know it because the original installation we were on was not in the atmosphere of a gas giant, it orbited one. To argue that point would be like saying our Moon is actually inside our atmosphere.
So what does this all mean? Well it's hard to say since we don't really know what the "other" facilities would be used for. ( I would have submitted this information to that whole intellectual council thing I had planned, but it got shot down by mean old Shishka! jk nothing but love!) So instead I leave this information to you all, to speculate and formulate the theories of genius which I know you are all capable of.
Edit: Oh, and to tell me how I am wrong.
