Yea, I have a program called giga pocket, I recorded the whole E3 vid off an xbox demo disc because my xbox is connected to my comp, so with Giga pocket I recorded the feed from my xbox. So when I play H2 on Live I will be recording matches since I use my comp screen lol.

It has to be the sniper. But look at the upper most part of the shot. Is it just me or does it look like a clip is already in?

there is nothing sub about it.

Have you seen the SMGs in Rainbow Six and XIII? They are massive like big suare miniguns. An SMG is not supposed to be small (I dont think so anyway)

An SMG is a machine gun that fires pistol ammunition... that is the difference between an AR and SMG, not the size, but the round it fires.

Are you sure about that because the Subs in Rainbow Six are huge and its a Tom Clancy game for crying out loud so it prides on real life guns and such.

Perhaps you should re-read my post... I said size doesn't matter... the ammunition does.

sorry... i just needed to quote this because its funny... and SMG... SUB machine gun, inplying that it is small.

Yes... the bullet is SMALLER... that is right the BULLET... is SMALLER...

EDIT: SUB doesn't necessarilly mean SMALLER too...

Note: SUBmarine

Actually many SMGs can fire rifle bullets, including the standard 5.56mm NATO round.

SUB just means the gun is small, designed for tight, urban work.

the context of the term "sub" is below....if its a "sub"machine gun its a smaller or below machine gun.hence "sub"marine=below-marine(marine=water)

Even if I'm wrong (and there's only about a 3% chance I will be), I like to visuallize the SMG as a crazy bullet-hose with enormous rounds and a 30 round mag.

Nice reference, but I don't think that example works especially well in this situation.

Don't you notice that all smgs fire pistol ammunition. Maybe you should research the history of the smg, the m1a1 of ww2 actually wieghed more then the m1 garand rifle, not much in the way of handy small smgs of today. Today's smgs are small, that is true, but that is because of the ammo they fire and the limitations and applications of that very ammo, it is pointless to fire a pistol round from a large 20 inch barrel when the round is best used in urban terrain where a handier weapon is more useful and you wont need to fire at objects 300 yards away, something a pistol round is not capable of, which limits it to this application.

There are some small rifles with 9 inch barrels which are incorrectly labled as smgs but those are normally of russian origin where the definition maybe different. Most small rifles firing intermediate rounds like the m4 and even the more compact command versions as well as some othere types like the g36c and sig 552 are the size of smgs yet they remain classified as carbines because of the very ammo they fire.

P.S. Counterstrike isn't the best place to learn about firearms.

NATO rounds are used in pistols AND rifles.

P.S. Your argument was so dumb, I didn't bother to read the whole thing.
P.P.S. I've played Counter Strike all of maybe 2 times. At my friend's Bday party.

a NATO round is not a specific caliber(size),its like the "quality" of the ammo. so of course they are used in rifles and pistols

There are many many types of nato standard rounds. There is the nato pistol round which is the 9mm. The nato standard intermediate round is the 5.56 and the rifle round being the 7.62. They go all the way up to 120mm tank rounds.

There are also nato standard magazines and items like that. The standard is only there to make sure the all the countries allied together dont have different types of pistol rounds and intermediate rounds. That is why the US dumped the .45 for the 9mm, because they had a different pistol round than nato which was bad for supply and could cause shortages on the battlefield.

I say again, Counter Strike is not the best place to get all your information on firearms.
