So I'm trying to see if I can't swap out some of the bitmaps in halo pc. Change up the textures so that things are different colors, you know. That sort of thing. Is there any way I can do that without downloading the Halo Modding Tool (HMT)?

Isn't that basicly the same thing? I'm trying to do it without downloading a bunch of programs because I just got a new computer and it's set so that I need to get Administrator to type in the password everytime I want to install something. It's kind of a hassle.

It's the only way I know of doing it. And Halo: Custom Edition is worth the download in itself to me. Much more customizable and user friendly then any other Bungie game. Gravity, bitmaping, maps, weapons, vehicles, etc. All customizable. Endless amount of awesome.
