Thanks everyone for the support.
Oddly enough, this stage came off as really hard to write. I don't deny the errors in grammar, it has always been my achilles heal, but oddly it was even more so with this past stage.
I offer my deepest apologies to anyone that may have been distracted by the previous stage, and I will do my darndest to get back on track with the next stage.
It's hard to describe, really, what made this past post so tricky. I believe I was too much into the details (I tend to overlook the small things for the bigger). And the characters' speeches proved to be rather "sudden"... I don't know if anyone noticed that Melanie is the same girl that was with Eric during the flash back, at the Lacrosse after party... sudden moves like this on my part, to introduce new characters and a deeper plot, seem to capture my attention more then focusing on "Through/threw, their/there/they're".
This is not an excuse, I've gotten lazier with my writting and that will not do. The option for getting an editor... not really that big of a concern. I may be bad at grammer, but to ask someone to edit my "fan fic??" I don't think so. Currently my "Editor", if you want to call her that, is hard at work on my Novel, which has a deadline of June 30... so she's busy enough, I dare not bother her with this request else she may dissown me, and I'd lose a friend. But I'm not saying that my fanfic isn't a priority, if anything it (and you all) have been a major push into the right direction of my writing. I could find another editor, but at this point I think I should learn some form of "REAL" editing on my own. I have to do it, i can't just assume that someone else will do my work for me. At least not this one. Yes it is hard to catch all the errors in a work, but sometimes you have to try for yourself.
Justly, all I can say is forgive this mess. For those who read my story, I know my grammer isn't a HUGE deal, but in the long run it does stand out. Writers like, Scorptank, Mr_Clark, the Silky Carp, and all the other aspiring professional authors on B.net can understand what I mean. A writer must write... it is practice for the big leagues, and here is where we correct the "errors" of our ameature ways. While B.net and Fanfiction.net are not the gratest ways to announce our Bid to professionalism, it is a start, at least I think so.
I promise to update the story before I post it to Fanfiction.net, that way you'll be able to read it with as little errors as I can possibly catch with my own eyes.
Thanks again everyone for reading. I'll have a stage 9 update soon.
