I'll say it one time only: No taunting of other writers will be accepted in this thread. I have kept it clean and hopefully it will stay that way, other wise I'll have to ask a Mod to close this thread. Play nice.

... So from here, we move on.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys and gals. And yes, it is quite interesting what Captian Monroe and Ship Master Timnaldee are discussing... but what are they talking about? Ohhh... questions questions questions. teehee. More info soon.

Ooh! This was great. It was... uh... wow... what can I say... Soulguard! You went stressful on us, recovered, and gave us this! Wow... is all I can say. All the mysteries, plotlines, questions, I'm gonna go crazy! This was, uh... well... I can't say anything more than: Thank you for existing and spending some of that existance on Bungie.net... wow... that sounded like worshipping. Bad case of... well... I dunno. Just thanks for writing this.

P.S. Soulguard, since you and Scorp are pretty... umm... close (don't get that wrong, I mean good friends) do you have any idea where he is? He kind of went... - what did LE call it? - AWOL on us. I dunno, since you might have sent him a PM with a review on Chapter 14, so maybe he told you... where the f**k is he?

I have nothing to say as it has already been said by everyone else. If you haven't got too fat on all the previos cookies, you can get some from my sig.

I well and truly hate being so late, posting my comments. I have nothing original to say (thus, I won't bother saying 'marvelous' or anything as obvious) so all I can say is: keep this up and keep me posted. You have made up for your stress 'delay' with another superb stage.... Voila.

P.S. Yes, GM, I wonder, too. But don't bother Soulguard with it.

P.P.S. Caboose360, I highly advise you to chill. Your comments insult other people more than I would like to see, and you act as if Soulguard is a god (I'm not saying he's not) whereas other people are worms worthy only to be buried alive. Seriously, chill.

In your own, modest opinion, Soulguard is the best, which doesn't mean Scorptank, Mr_Clark or any of the other writers 'suck'. They just use a different style of writing, this attitude is wrong and annoying. Grow up.

Yup, it's just the way it is.

Please do not compare Fanfic writers. "We" all have our opinions, but its best for all if noone comes here claim how someone is best and others just suck.

You can say how someone is good, or rocks as Soul does but please do not compera him to others. They are all just best what B.net has to offer us.

Peace.

Soulguard in my opinion is the best. I never said the others suck, I read their fanfics as well, they are good just not as good as Soulguard.

So sorry to everyone.

very good, thanks for the pm's, and I think that this was just as good as mr clark's. not better, not worse. they are =. you have earned clarks respect too.

I myself had been writing a fanfic as well, with a few alterations to it, you very well may see it in the forrums, and not to be advertising and what not, but I may post a single link in this thread for those who are interested and that's it.

as for soul gaurd, we all go through rough times, that you just have to get through. I have never thought of ending my own life or any thing like that, though I have considered ending those of others...like my physical science teacher.

I just happened to stumble upon your two stories while searching for info on a 4th Halo novel. Let me just say that if your fanfics were printed paperbacks and I found them at the bookstore, I would have believed them official continuations of the Halo story. I am amazed at how well you have incorporated the pre-existing events of the 3 novels and the story of Halo 2; it is presented both artfully and accurately. Fantastic work, I place you up there with Nylund and Dietz for your excellent storytelling. What can I say, I'm hooked on the story now...I want to believe that it is really how the story will continue when the next game and/or book is released! I look forward to your continuing stages. Please keep me updated with a pm. ;p

Well... the way you posted in Scorp's thread implied that you did... anyway, don't worry about it. I just wanted to mention it.

Hey, Soulguard, when are you going to post a review on Scorp's Chapter 14.

MC SPARTAN 219 Long time no see MC. Welcome back.

SpecOps Elite 007 Honestly I haven't read Scorptanks latest chapter. I wanted to wait until he had two chapters posted since I'm on vacation I have a lot of free time for reading and stuff. So I wanted a LARGE chunk in one sitting. .... but even still, that leads me to today's update.

Stage 18 update
While on vacation, I planned to really knock out a lot of writing, but ... I left my writing at the office so... It took me four days to get the energy to drive to the job and *sneak* into my office unnoticed. It didn't work, and once everyone saw me they quickly decided to attack me with work related questions. Much like the Master Chief running through the Library, I wish I had an M90 with unlimited ammo. My coworkers came out of every corner and office door like infection forms looking for a body to control. I ran away as fast as I could, searching for my "Index" and was relieved to find it sitting nicely on my desk. Now I have my happy flash drive with the my stories on it and can start working on the story again.

I've started stage 18 and pushing along to probably the most shocking section of the story. Hopefully... this stage will leave you breathless. A lot will happen, and you were warned about it in stage 17. I hope you paid attention. So without further delay here's the title to hold you over:

Stage 18: Defense... F.U.B.A.R.

I will post stage 18 on monday, with stage 19 perhaps Friday.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

LOL that's hilarious. (no guilty spark thing?)

I also want to know what FUBAR actually stands for.
(Yes I realise you must be laughing yourself silly, but I'm a Polish not English dictionary.)
