ive been thinking about this for quite some time, and i was wondering does anyone think the forerunners are still alive and will we ever see them. i thought that if we saw one at the end of halo 2 that it would be a very good way to leave off for halo 3. and in halo 3 it could explain about them and you could ally with them or fight them or wotever the hell bungie come up with.

maybe. but since there's a small chance of them making a halo 3, no.
i'm all for this theory, "the forerunner are extinct."

It would also seem good making halo 3 for the xbox 2.

The ptions maybe explaining the foreunners, destroying covie home planet, making friends with covies more about the flood but chances of Halo 3 are slim.

im pretty sure that theyre making a halo 3, considering halo is the xbox's number one game, its fastest selling game, its most sold game, and with microsoft behind it in funding, im pretty sure there will be a third one.

but it's gonna kill halo. everyone knows that while sequels to stuff are ok, when you get into 3's and 4's and such you just kill it. look at the Alien series, or Nightmare on Elm Street.

I'm undecided. It really depends on Halo 2's ending which we really don't know yet.

Agreed,so let's not even give halo 3 hopes when halo 2 hans't even been played yet.But of course the forerunners will play a major role in halo 2,probably an even major role than we all thought(AND WE HAVE TO AT LEAST KILL the monitor....)

It would make sense to kill him in halo 2.if we can't kill him then we certenly can;t kill any forerunners.

Look at the marathon series. Bungie kept it up with three. Same with mith! and the story wont be over in halo 2 (in my opinion)

i agree with johny joe, bungie like the number 3, but they love the number seven even more. so there might be 7 halo's.

who knows.?.?.?.
