Subject: Bungie.net on someone's gametag name

Why do some people have bungie.net on their gametag name? Sometimes when I play multiplayer games and people join, I see that on the bar behind their name (i.e like my name is Darth Cydius) the colored bar will also display bungie.net. I know one person that has this and he is a kid in jr. high in a local school. Not sure how he got that or what it actually represents (my friends all thought it meant they worked for bungie).

It's just a way of showing you linked your Gamertag to Bungie.net.

Step 1 -- link GamerTag to .Net Passport.
Step 2 -- Go through My Settings, select display Bungie.net behind name.

Step 3 - Welcome to 4 months ago! ;-)

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

I feel some uncontrollable urge to say this...
