Good start for a beginner, did you notice what resolution you set it to? Default is 72 DPI, which is why they start to look grainy, may I suggest trying at 300 PDI or even 150-200 DPI to save file space. The colors and the borders are okay, the text is fine as well, but not necessary. I was under the impression that any Major League style rendering had the image in white?
