So?

  • 04.29.2005 12:02 PM PDT

Veteran member of The Frozen Minority.

So, unlike other mods that actually earned it, all he did was play WoW with them then ask. I think that's, you know, kind of sad in a way. He's a good guy, and mod worthy, but still the fact that he asked to be a mod is somewhat pathetic.

I'll shut up now before he bans me. He knows I still love him, as he loves me. :-)

I'm still waiting for you to send me another friends request Nos. I'd send you one, but you took me off of your list. I'm waiting...

Question- I met this guy on Xbox live. He was boasting to be a bungie.net mod. He said his name on bnet was Nosferatusaldie or something along those lines. I was just wondering if this guy was a real mod. Thanks for your time-
Schofield

I was hardly boasting, I was just talking to the other person in the room about moderating and you asked if I was a Bungie.net moderator. I simply answered your question.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

You guys only answered his question 9 times.

Wait, nostrefu_soldie?

I opened the window and left for 45 minutes. I had an excuse, I didn't know there were so many replies.

Uh, excuse me?

Yes, he's the only moderator that specifically asked to be one. However, do you think he would have become one if he did not meet Bungie's expectations to be a moderator? People ask all the time, and the reaction is generally the same: "Uh, who are you, again?"

Nos was able to ask because of basically the same reason we were asked; because people at Bungie have come to know him, and trust that he's moderator material. Not only that, but when he asked, the other mods were polled for their opinion as well.

I'd say there's nothing pathetic about it.

Couldn't have put it better myself. moderators are chosen for a reason. Therefore, there must be a reason for making Nos a modrator. Personaly, i think he makes a good moderator.

I agree with what shiska said, and what was his name before he was a moderator, cuz I don't think I have seen him before he was a mod.

I'm sorry you feel that way, Jeff, but you're wrong.

I never ASKED to become a moderator. The fact is, I was busy helping lock some threads and I simply said, jokingly I might add, "you guys should just make me a moderator". Only after discussing the matter further, and after Sketch talked to the rest of the mods about it, was I made a mod.

oh... and about the friends list thing... stop waiting for another friend request.

Point: None of this is your business

Really, take what Shishka said, add in the fact that those decisions are made by people who have their own right to decide on what they will, and be reminded again that this topic really is of no matter to other people, save the mods and Bungie.net staff

Done. Lock. G'bye
