1. i just got halo 2 on mon brand new but after loading the game its really choppy even if i set evry thing to low its choppy evry were menu and in game

im running
Processor
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ (2.2Ghz at factory clock) over clocked to 2.5Ghz
4gigs of ram
Video Card
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio
Operating System:
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

all my drivers seem to be upto date

2. if i can get my game to work nice im interested in joining a clan that has about 15+ people and doest ask for monthly fees or mandatory donations

You're gonna need a program called an "FPS Limiter" for Halo 2 Vista.

The reason this is so, is because Halo 2 Vista was a poorly coded piece of crap. To put it simply, your computer is rendering H2V as it should, but the software doesn't "sync" it properly to your monitor, which causes it to appear to be all choppy, even if you have a blazingly fast rig.

I have a somewhat crappy PC, so H2V runs fine for me, so I don't need it. I would give you a link to the program, but I'm sure you can Google for it -- or maybe another member will have a link.
