This is taken from the halo story page over at hbo. Although the quote is below, here is the link.
"I'd like to take this time to point out one mystery that, as of yet, has been completely overlooked, as far as I've seen, Derelict. I remind you that the Halo is not the only Forerunner installation we set foot on, in Halo. The Halo itself, but also Derelict, the net level. It's quite intriguing. It's a small station, floating in space, with no Halo in sight. Though it appears to be at the lagrange (sp?) point between a large planet and a moon, just like Halo, and there is a sun directly above the station. Also of note is how the level seems almost a hybrid of Covenant lighting and Forerunner design, textures, etc. Let discussion ensue."
Does anyone have any clue WTF he is talking about? He says that we have set foot on something other than halo and then says it is halo that we havent set foot on. I dont get it. Oh yeah, go ahead and spam me, its bound to happen anyway. I really dont mind it, just looking for info. In the end the spammers look more like idiots than I do.
What he is refering to, well i believe so, Is that the level derelect fot mutiplayer, seems to be at the same point as halo is. That is to say for the little story bungie has put for that level has it being a small docking station seperate from halo, floating in space. The point he was making was that i happens to be in the very same spot as halo. I E When looking out the window you see the moon basis and the gas giant. Also it has both light fixtures from both Forerunner instalations and covenant ones. So that means the story, while sounding cool, apparantly bungie didnt make and entirely new surroundings and lights for this one mp level. Well thats understandable. Hes just a geek making a stupid comment. thats all.
